As some of you know, alongside my work, I commit to empowering women globally by donating a portion of my income from each new brand project to female empowerment foundations. And here we are.. We’ve just welcomed our fifth foundation into this commitment! Short and sweet, let me take a moment to introduce you to the remarkable organizations I am supporting:
1. Dhammajarinee Witthaya School, Thailand
This school provides free quality education and a safe home for underprivileged girls in Thailand, aiming to break the cycle of poverty and empower them for a brighter future.
2. High Atlas Foundation, Morocco
They focus on empowering Moroccan women through participatory development approaches, leading to enhanced economic, social, and environmental progress within communities.
3. PSYDEH, Mexico
PSYDEH works in Hidalgo, Mexico, empowering indigenous women to drive community development and advocate for their rights, fostering sustainable societal change.
4. MAIA, Guatemala
MAIA is an educational initiative for Indigenous girls in Guatemala, offering them the skills and knowledge to become community leaders and change-makers.
5. Fondo Semillas, Mexico
A feminist organization, Fondo Semillas supports women, trans*, and intersex individuals in Mexico to fight for their rights and work towards achieving social justice and equality.
Why This Matters
Bringing this into the light, I want to highlight how our collective efforts are helping my mission of empowering women across different societies. Each marketing project you and I embark on contributes directly to the transformative work of these foundations, supporting education, empowerment, and systemic change. Thank you for being an essential part of this journey. Together, we're creating positive change, step by step. While our impact might be modest now, my commitment is set on expanding my reach so we can offer more support.
Highlighting My Partner Brands and Our Donation Impact
As many of you know my core value of my agency She Said is transparency: At the moment, I work with some great companies like Workmagic, MavieMe, and Goodness Lover, and their founders are in the midst of selecting a foundation for each to contribute a part of my income from our collaborations.
I've been setting aside funds from these projects, excitedly gearing up for our first round of donations. It's a big step for me, and I'm planning to make these contributions a regular thing, adjusting with the scope of our projects.
It's my commitment to meaningful change.
