About Me

My name is Silja, I am 29 years old and originally from Germany now living in beautiful California. 8 years ago, I co-founded Swedish Fall GmbH, a sustainable e-commerce company. This adventure kicked off while me and my three co-founders were still in university, and what started as a modest project quickly evolved into a thriving startup within six months. Our big break came when we appeared on the "Die Höhle der Löwen" TV show, catapulting us into the spotlight. We were tempted to ditch university, but thanks to our parents, we stuck with our studies while juggling late-night shifts. Post-graduation, we set our sights on San Francisco to scale our business.

Throughout this journey, I led the creative marketing efforts, growing the business with ads back when this role didn’t officially exist. Through our marketing efforts, especially through our pivot into a subscription-based brand, we scaled our startup to a stunning €250k per month. However, Swedish Fall faced logistical issues during COVID, and a warehouse breakdown tested our resilience. These trials made us stronger as entrepreneurs, but after two years of battling the pandemic's impact on our business, we made the tough call to close shop in 2022.

Soon after closing Swedish Fall, I found myself without an identity and went on a journey of self-discovery through travel, which eventually led to the foundation of She Said Creatives. Now, I specialize in using data-driven creative insights to optimize ad campaigns, create high-impact content, and develop brand narratives that convert. My focus is on helping businesses stand out in the greedy, crowded e-com battlefield.

Beside that, my mission is to empower women entrepreneurs globally, equipping them with the tools and knowledge they need to avoid common pitfalls and craft their own path to success.
